LET’S STOP FORECLOSURES!
Did you know that 563 families in West Ridge lost their home to foreclosure in 2008? That’s a 396% increase since 2006 – the second highest increase in Chicago! Are you concerned about the impact this has on your neighborhood? Are you afraid of losing your own home?
Let’s work together as a community to prevent foreclosures through education and action. The North Side Alliance invites you and your neighbors to participate in two events:
Foreclosure Prevention Rally Sunday, March 8, 2009 at 2 – 3pm Indo American Center 6328 N California Ave. Chicago, IL 60659
Community organizations from around the country are mobilizing to Washington DC to take action to stop the foreclosures! Come to the Chicago stop to show your support and build a local movement to save our community from the foreclosure crisis! Invited guests include: Congresswoman Schakowsky, Sen. Silverstein, Rep.
